- suicidal thoughts aren't shameful so you MUST ask for help
- even if you don't think it's true so many people would be hurt by your death
- you might feel like you can't make things better- if you kill yourself you really will NEVER be able to make things better
- you aren't alone, there are SO MANY who feel just like you
- recovery is possible!

- be open to talking about a person you are concerned about- they'll be less likely to talk if they believe you are judging them
- while a lot of suicide threats are used to seek attention you MUST TAKE EVERY SUICIDE THREAT SERIOUSLY
- never keep a loved ones suicide plan secret -don't tell them you will either- instead support them and seek immediate help
- never try to shame or belittle someone into not committing suicide- it won't help anything
